The temple is located in Bangbua Thong district in Nonthaburi province just north of Bangkok.  Wat Borom racha Kanchana pisek Anusorn temple took over ten years to build. The temple was constructed to commemorate 50th anniversary of the King’s reign. The temple was built on 4 acres.

4 stories Wat Boromracha Kanchanapisek has 3 main halls housed Chinese style Buddha Images. The temple was designed by Thai and Chinese architects Moreover, most of the construction material was handmade in China with so many detail in the engravings on the walls, floors and ceilings. Since Thailand is a Theravada country, therefore, a Chinese temple (Mahayana Buddhism) is hard to be found in Thailand. The drawing and printing in Wat Boromracha Kanchanapisek Anusorn temple instigated from the art of China’s Ming and Qing dynasties.
