Suan Pakkad - Lattuce Farm PalaceThe Suan Pakkad Palace Museum or Lettuce Farm Palace Museum is the first museum in Thailand, opened in 1952, one of the must-see tourist attraction in Bangkok. The palace was the residence of the prince Chumbhotpong Paripatra's family. Suan Pakkad Palace is located on 6 rai (2.4 acre) on Ayudhya Road, 5-10 minutes walk from Phayathai BTS sky-train station. There are groups of 8 traditional Thai houses (one of houses is nearly 500 years old) in Suan Pakkad Palace, surrounded by beautiful garden. There are so many interesting things' showing in the museum. For example, Thai musical instruments, find arts and painting, Lvory, image of Buddha from 14th century AD. , old silverware and glassware, Terracotta sculptures from Sukhothai era, Khon, the classical masked dance, Ban Chieng Artifacts (3600 BC. - 200 AD.), "Kao Kung Bayam" the royal barge, and much more.

Going to Suan Pakkad Palace Museum is quite easy, the best way to get here is getting the BTS sky-train to Phayathai Station and the museum is just 5-10 minutes away by walk.
