Chatuchak Park, Bangkok
Chatuchak Park is a well known pubric park in Bangkok, one of the older public parks in Bangkok. Construction began in 1975 on the land that donated by the State Railway of Thailand. Chatuchak park located at the junction of Phahonyothin and Vibhavadi Rungsit roads. Chatuchak Park has an area of 0.304 square kilometers. Inside the park, there is a train museum where Classic Thai Train. The park features large grounds, a jogging track and an artificial lake where you can rent rowing boats. There is also a playground for kids and children. This park is an ideal place for jogging in the morning and evening. The park is very close to Mo Chit Sky Train Station and Chatuchak Park Subways.
Tips : Chatuchak Park is an ideal place for picnicing after a long day shopping at Chatuchak Weekend Market. You can buy food from Chatuchak market or Aor-Tor-Kor Market.
