Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall in Bangkok is a beautiful building located next to the royal plaza near Dusit Palace. The Ananda Samakhom was builded in Italian Renaissance and Neo classics style. Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall has 2 storey The Throne Hall was decolated with Italian marble from Carrara and has large a dome surrounded by 6 smaller domes on the top of the building. Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall was builded in 1907 and completed in 1915. The design was supervised by Chao Phraya Yommaraj, with teams of Italian architects, engineers and painters. Inside the throne Hall, the paintings are blend of European and Thai by Italian painters.
The walls of Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall are decorated with Royal Monograms of H.M. the King Vajiravudh (The King Rama 6) decorated with the Garuda, Naga and Erawan. Now a day, The Throne Hall is open to pubric as a museum.
